Chromecast

Wirelessly stream your tablet or laptop straight to your projector or TV

What is Chromecast?

Chromecast is a wireless streaming device that plugs into the HDMI port on your projector or TV. Simply use your computer (with the Chrome browser) or tablet connect to the PSSDEDU WiFi to connect and stream your display. Chromecast works with iPad®, Android devices, Windows® laptops, and Chromebooks.

A better way to get video, music and your computer screen to your Projector

Your school device already has everything you need: Chromecasts are controlled via the Chrome browser. No new logins or software installs required.

Simply tap the cast button to display your content on your projector or big screen.

Mirror your Android screen

Cast exactly what you see on your Android phone or tablet screen to the TV. Your school photos and videos, favourite educational videos, presentations and more – now bigger than ever.

Mirror any website

If you can find it online, you can see it on your TV. See whatever’s on your laptop’s Chrome browser on the big screen.

Mirror your computer

Chromecast even supports screen mirroring from your Windows PC! Simply select Cast Desktop for a 1:1 copy of your screen on your projector or TV.

Stream Directly From YouTube

Chromecast can stream content directly from the internet, so that you get the highest quality video and sound.

With 2.4/5GHz Wi-Fi support and an adaptive aerial system built in, it keeps video resolution high and buffering low. Look for this Cast button (Green arrow) to let the chromecast do the work instead of your laptop - great for releiving issues with choppy video!
